Salary: $32.50/hr for Full-Time | $25.40/hr Part-Time
Hours: Full-Time - 40hr/week | Part-Time - 20hr/week
Location: Home-based position
Probation Period: The position includes a paid two-week probation period

Murray River Express Inc is a growing investment management and financial services company specializing in portfolio management, investment operations, and client services. We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Order Processing Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in financial operations and transaction processing and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Process and manage investment orders from receipt through final settlement
  • Coordinate trade execution, settlement, and delivery schedules
  • Verify order details, quantities, and transaction information for accuracy
  • Monitor portfolio positions and communicate reconciliation needs
  • Communicate with brokers, custodians, vendors, and clients to resolve transaction issues or delays
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve operational efficiency and client satisfaction
  • Participate in team meetings and cross-department coordination

Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet tight deadlines

Tax Information

According to Canadian laws, companies that are employers (resident or non-resident) and have paid their employees employment income, commissions, taxable allowances and benefits, fishing income, or any other remuneration, are required to prepare and issue a T4 slip. Employees should receive most of their slips and receipts by the end of February.
